In diesem Blogbeitrag zeigt unser SAP HXM Analytics Consultant Christian Samuel, wie diese Geokoordinaten in der SAP Datasphere eingebunden werden k\u00f6nnen, um sie sp\u00e4ter f\u00fcr die SAC optimal konsumierbar zu machen.\u00a0Sie erfahren Hands-On wie die sog. Location Dimension in ein Headcount-Datenmodell eingebettet werden kann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-hl-2\">Wie sieht das Ziel am Ende aus?<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"624\" height=\"404\" src=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild1.png\" alt=\"location_dimension_SAP_datasphere_1\" class=\"wp-image-17045\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild1.png 624w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild1-300x194.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 624px) 100vw, 624px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Im Beispiel werden die drei Locations Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis, Heilbronn (Landkreis) und Heilbronn (Stadtkreis) in Form einzelner Punkte angezeigt. Die Farbe gibt jeweils an, wie viele Mitarbeiter:innen den jeweiligen Landkreisen zugeordnet sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-hl-3\">Schritt 1: Datenherkunft der L\u00e4ngen- und Breitengrade identifizieren und Geokoordinaten anreichern<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Um die \u201eBubbles\u201c auf der Karte erstellen zu k\u00f6nnen, m\u00fcssen die Daten um L\u00e4ngen- und Breitengrade (longitude\/latitude) erg\u00e4nzt werden. Diese notwendigen Daten k\u00f6nnen direkt aus dem Datasphere Catalog entnommen werden. Suchen Sie hierzu im Catalog nach \u201eGeo-Stammdaten f\u00fcr Postleitzahl und Landkreis\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nat\u00fcrlich k\u00f6nnen f\u00fcr die Anreicherung der Geokoordinaten um L\u00e4ngen- und Breitengrade auch weitere Drittanbieter-Datenquellen im Internet verwendet werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-hl-3\">Schritt 2: Verkn\u00fcpfen der Stammdaten mit den Location-Daten<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In den Stammdaten wird der Ort und dessen Postleitzahl aus dem Quellsystem (hier: SAP SuccessFactors) bereits extrahiert. Um die Stammdaten mit den L\u00e4ngen- und Breitengeraden zu erweitern, wird zun\u00e4chst eine neue Tabelle in der SAP Datasphere erstellt:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"168\" src=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild2-1024x168.png\" alt=\"location_dimension_SAP_datasphere_2\" class=\"wp-image-17048\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild2-1024x168.png 1024w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild2-300x49.png 300w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild2-768x126.png 768w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild2-1536x251.png 1536w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild2.png 1779w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anschlie\u00dfend werden die Daten hochgeladen. Im Ergebnis haben wir dann eine Tabelle mit Zuordnung der L\u00e4ngen- und Breitengrade zu Postleitzahl und Ort:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"105\" src=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild3-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17094\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild3-1.png 1000w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild3-1-300x32.png 300w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild3-1-768x81.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">F\u00fcr die Verkn\u00fcpfung zu den relevanten Stammdaten (hier: zur Person) wird ein DataFlow angelegt, in dem die eben erstellte Tabelle mit L\u00e4ngen- und Breitengraden per JOIN verbunden wird. Als Schl\u00fcssel werden f\u00fcr den JOIN Zip Code (PLZ) und die Stadt verwendet. Erg\u00e4nzend k\u00f6nnen je nach Bedarf noch weitere Daten im DataFlow mit angebunden werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"166\" src=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild4-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17096\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild4-1.png 1000w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild4-1-300x50.png 300w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild4-1-768x127.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-hl-3\">Schritt 3: Erstellen der Location-Dimension<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die eigentliche Dimension wird dann in der Graphical View (hier: Person) erzeugt:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"930\" height=\"195\" src=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild5.png\" alt=\"location_dimension_SAP_datasphere_5\" class=\"wp-image-17054\" style=\"width:930px;height:195px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild5.png 930w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild5-300x63.png 300w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild5-768x161.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 930px) 100vw, 930px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Folgende Einstellungen m\u00fcssen f\u00fcr die View vorgenommen werden:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"452\" height=\"447\" src=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild6.png\" alt=\"location_dimension_SAP_datasphere_6\" class=\"wp-image-17056\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild6.png 452w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild6-300x297.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 452px) 100vw, 452px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die semantische Nutzung (Semantic Usage) muss hier als Dimension eingestellt werden. Damit die SAC sp\u00e4ter die Location Dimension erkennt, wird in der Graphical View noch eine \u201eGeo-Koordinaten\u201c Spalte hinzugef\u00fcgt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"870\" height=\"435\" src=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild7.png\" alt=\"location_dimension_SAP_datasphere_7\" class=\"wp-image-17058\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild7.png 870w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild7-300x150.png 300w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild7-768x384.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 870px) 100vw, 870px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diese Spalte muss mit den folgenden Einstellungen konfiguriert werden:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild8.png\" alt=\"location_dimension_SAP_datasphere_8\" class=\"wp-image-17060\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild8.png 450w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild8-222x300.png 222w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">F\u00fcr Longitude und Latitude werden die jeweiligen Spalten ausgew\u00e4hlt, die die L\u00e4ngen- und Breitengrade abbilden. Der \u201eSpatial Reference Identifier\u201c ist das Koordinatenreferenzsystem, das wir f\u00fcr unsere Location Dimension verwenden. Standardm\u00e4\u00dfig sollte dieser auf \u201e4326\u201c eingestellt werden. Hierdurch werden r\u00e4umliche Daten mithilfe von L\u00e4ngen- und Breitengraden nach Standard WGS84 auf der Erdoberfl\u00e4che darstellt. Dieses Koordinatenreferenzsystem wird auch f\u00fcr GPS verwendet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-hl-3\">Schritt 4: Location Dimension f\u00fcr die SAC nutzbar machen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ein einfacher, aber wichtiger letzter Schritt ist nun noch die Aktivierung der Location Dimension im Analytic Model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"943\" height=\"793\" src=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild9.png\" alt=\"location_dimension_SAP_datasphere_9\" class=\"wp-image-17062\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild9.png 943w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild9-300x252.png 300w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild9-768x646.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 943px) 100vw, 943px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In der SAC kann jetzt eine Landkarte erstellt werden, f\u00fcr welche die eben erstellte Dimension als Location Dimension genutzt werden kann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"435\" height=\"137\" src=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild10.png\" alt=\"location_dimension_SAP_datasphere_10\" class=\"wp-image-17065\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild10.png 435w, https:\/\/mmmake.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild10-300x94.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 435px) 100vw, 435px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-hl-3\">Fazit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mit der gezeigten Vorgehensweise k\u00f6nnen Geodaten \u00fcber die SAP Datasphere f\u00fcr die SAC nutzbar gemacht werden. Dieses Vorgehen war bereits im SAP BW m\u00f6glich, ist aber in der Datasphere durch die symbiotische Integration mit der SAC schneller und unkomplizierter m\u00f6glich. Mit dieser Funktionalit\u00e4t lassen sich vielerlei Reporting-Anforderungen mit gro\u00dfem Mehrwert umsetzen.
