Blickle Räder & Rollen is a world-leading family business in the wheels and castors market. The company has a mature assortment and sales concept, which should also be supported by the website. Although they have a strong brand and top products, they have an outdated web presence without store functionality – thus no online sales. In addition, Blickle would like to change the service provider of their website.

Blickle was looking for a new service provider for its existing Sitecore-based website. Long-term professional support and advice on the implementation of new requirements were requested. The task was to establish a new B2B store to complement the catalog and the digital transformation in sales at the traditional company. In addition, the international, digital presence was continuously expanded through country rollouts.

Many trades were required for this comprehensive project. Not only the technical infrastructure required a rebuild, but also the concept and design of the website were extensively revised. New countries and languages, a product finder and a new product import were added. A purpose-built server landscape provides state-of-the-art performance, minimizes downtime and improves testing of new features. With a facelift of the design, an update of the Sitecore CMS also moves in.
