The electronic sick note is coming."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Es sind bewegte Wochen in <strong>deutschen Arztpraxen<\/strong>. Seit Langem schon k\u00e4mpfen viele niedergelassene \u00c4rzt:innen mit \u00dcberlastung und Problemen mit dem <strong>Gesundheitssystem<\/strong>, gingen mitunter teilweise deshalb sogar in den Arbeitsstreik. Zudem herrscht Hochkonjunktur f\u00fcr grippale Infekte und Erk\u00e4ltungen, was deutlich an \u00fcberf\u00fcllten Wartezimmern zu erkennen ist.\u00a0<br\/>\u00a0<br\/>Ausgerechnet w\u00e4hrend dieser durchaus angespannten Lage kommt eine Neuerung, die nicht nur die Arztpraxen, sondern auch viele Unternehmen vor eine gro\u00dfe <strong>Herausforderung<\/strong> stellen wird: Ab dem <strong>1. Januar 2023<\/strong> m\u00fcssen <strong>Krankmeldungen elektronisch<\/strong> versendet werden, von Arztpraxis zu Krankenkasse und anschlie\u00dfend zum Arbeitgeber:in.<br\/>\u00a0<br\/>Die Idee ist keinesfalls neu. Bereits im September 2019 hatte der Bundestag diese \u00c4nderung beschlossen, im sogenannten B\u00fcrokratieentlastungsgesetz III. Doch von Entlastung kann bei vielen Unternehmen erst mal nicht die Rede sein, ruft doch diese Gesetzes\u00e4nderung erst einmal Mehraufwand hervor.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The electronic sick note: What changes for companies?<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Denn eben jene Unternehmen haben nun eine Holschuld \u2013 bedeutet, sobald sich Mitarbeiter:innen krankmelden, muss der\/die Arbeitgeber:in mit der jeweiligen Krankenkasse in Kontakt treten und die <strong>elektronische Krankmeldung<\/strong> anfordern bzw. abfragen, um sie anschlie\u00dfend im eigenen System einzupflegen.<br\/>\u00a0<br\/>Die daf\u00fcr notwendigen technischen Erweiterungen stellen die Unternehmen teilweise vor eine Mammut-Aufgabe. Neben dem eigentlichen Prozess mit Versand und Abruf der Arbeitsunf\u00e4higkeiten f\u00fcr das eigentliche Verfahren m\u00fcssen sich die Arbeitgeber:innen Gedanken machen, wie sie die Krankmeldungen der Arbeitnehmer:innen zuk\u00fcnftig erhalten. Die Meldungen kommen per Post oder Mail, werden in einem <strong>Employee Self Service <\/strong>(ESS) oder <strong>Manager Self Services<\/strong> (MSS) System erfasst oder telefonisch gemeldet, sodass ein Zeitbeauftragter die Erfassung im System direkt einpflegen kann. Dar\u00fcber hinaus gilt es folgende Fragen abzukl\u00e4ren:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Will the employee be absent for more than three days?<\/li><li>Is he\/she sick or is he\/she home because one of the children is sick?<\/li><li>Is it an accident at work or other accident?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This, in turn, determines whether or not an employer has to request an eAU at all &#8211; with the corresponding effect on payroll accounting. Additional consideration must therefore be given to how the data will enter payroll in the future and with what type of absence, in order to keep manual activities for the department and the error rate in the eAU process as low as possible.
