Würth turns up the heat: Recap clip for the Würth Open Air Festival

Finally: After a long break from Corona, Würth lets it rip with the Würth Open Air Festival known from past years. Artists like Silbermond, Wincent Weiss and the Herbstbrüder brought 7,500 visitors into festival fever.
We were there up close and personal. Our mission: capture the best moments and produce an unforgettable recap clip from them.
Pure emotions and festival feeling
Kris Rampmaier (cameraman), Sarah Fischer (live editing) and Alina Sabatelli (project manager) were at the location the whole day as FILM-TEC-CREW. The well-rehearsed team has already accompanied various events such as the “24h Race”, the “Greentech Festival ” and trade fairs such as the “IAA” and the “Electronica“.
The task for us: to produce a recap video that shows what matters at such an event, namely: emotions. After such a long time, this was also a special experience and pure festival feeling for us! But see for yourself:
Editing and production on site
Already before the festival started, we visited the event location in order to capture all the highlights of the festival afterwards and also installed our cameras in advance to be prepared for the rush. Of course, we then also had our film cameras in use all day to capture the most beautiful and emotional moments of the evening.
What was special about this day was that we not only took care of the production on site, but also directly took care of the editing – and were thus able to put the result on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram in the same night.
On top we kept an eye on the social wall next to the main stage with the social media postings about the event of all visitors. Here, we worked hand in hand with Würth’s social media team. Also important here: quality assurance to ensure that no unwanted content was on the screen.
Our conclusion: It is simply unbelievably beautiful to see that an event like this still has a resonance in the aftermath through the type of communication and that the emotions can be preserved.
