Shifting HR processes to the cloud

Kärcher wanted to move certain HR processes to the cloud. However the company did not know that this is a complicated process that can lead to considerable difficulties if not carried out properly.

The introduction of SAP SuccessFactors, SAP’s cloud-based HR software, should provide the remedy, but it also brings challenges. The individual Adaptation to corporate structures and the integration of existing IT systemssystems require precise configuration of the modules. This also includes employee training is crucial for the effective use of the modules .

The continuous adaptation to changing laws and the ongoing updating of the SAP SuccessFactors platform for legal compliance have This poses considerable challenges for Kärcher’s in-house team. It it became clear that external expertsand experience-based know-how would be indispensable for the success of the changeover.

Customized personnel administration solution

In the end, Kärcher relied on the experts at mmmake to successfully move its HR administration processes to the cloud. We have developed our own solution for exactly this.

This approach uses a precise two-stage procedure. The first step is to implement a comprehensive system that encompasses the common features and needs of all HR administration areas. In the second step, individualized adjustments are made to take specific requirements of individual stakeholders or roles into account.

This approach enabled Kärcher to create a customized personnel administration solution that meets their individual requirements and needs, while helping to increase efficiency and productivity.
