We have developed a new website that enables efficient management of 18 specific country pages with a total of 11 different language versions and a wide selection of over 300 products.
The sensor manufacturer and world market leader VEGA Grieshaber KG from the Black Forest develops innovative measuring techniques that are easy to use and offer maximum safety and reliability.
Management of 18 countries, 11 languages, 300 products
The aim was to manage many different countries from a central platform. This includes 18 specific country sites with a total of 11 different language versions and over 300 products, which are to be managed by a small core team of a maximum of five people working in parallel. An elaborate product configurator with comparison options is also designed to help site visitors find the right product. Various data sources (products, downloads, contacts, countries) have to be integrated and separate Sitecore instances for the USA, China and Singapore have to be taken into account.

To meet VEGA’s challenges, the experts at mmmake designed and created an international website using Sitecore. One particular task was to successfully integrate various data sources such as product information, downloads, contact persons and country information into Sitecore. The result was a central contact point for all relevant countries in over ten languages. Thanks to the efficient structure, the website can be managed by a small team, making sales more efficient and cost-saving.
